Mr. Jerry Mack Kimmons, 55, died Dec. 17, 2009 in Flomaton. He was a native of Byrneville, Fla., and a resident of Flomaton for the past 20 years. He attended the Pentacostal church an was a former employee of CPC and Service Welding and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Kimmons of Flomaton; four sons, James Leon Emmons, Mavin Earl Emmons, Jr., and Tony Dewayne Emmons, all of Flomaton, and Clifton Eugene Emmons of East Brewton; three daughters, Tonya Renee Braswell of Ellenwood, Ga.; Tammy Lynn Gibson of Brewton; and Tonia Emmons of Robertsdale; 19 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Faye Wilson of Flomaton; Betty Wilson of Canoe; and Estelle Buckhault of Bratt, Fla.
Funeral services were held Dec. 20, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. James Gay officiating. Burial followed in Ray’s Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Adam Young, Jaime Young, Dale Levins, Tom Presley, Chris Fowler and Buddy Kimmons. Honorary pallbearers were Donnie Joe Victor and Buck Kimmons.
