Forecast: Snow possible

As cold as temperatures have been so far this week, residents may be hoping to get some white stuff in return.
And forecasters say the chances are good for snow — although how much and whether it will accumulate remains to be seen.
Precipitation is expected Thursday morning, with another chance for snow flurries later that day. Even if there is no snow, Williams said residents and motorists should be on the lookout for ice, especially on bridges and overpasses.
And cold weather will continue throughout the week, Williams said.
Escambia County Emergency Management Director David Adams said motorists should take care on area roadways.
With a hard freeze warning continuing each night, there are precautions homeowners and residents can take to protect themselves and their property.
Adams advised residents to bring pets indoors if possible or provide more protection for them, and to cover plants or bring them indoors as well.
Hypothermia is also a danger in cold weather, health officials said.
Residents can also take precautions to guard against damage to their homes during the cold spell, insurance officials said.
Among the simple tips to guard against pipes freezing:
