As I was sitting and pondering what to write about this week in this short column spot, I just could not think of anything to write about other than the biggest game of the college football season tomorrow night between Alabama and Texas.
As you have already probably seen, I was able to have former Alabama football player Roger Chapman share with us his thoughts for the game and the hopeful outcome for the Tide.
This game can not get here fast enough for Alabama fans.
The fans  were already wanting it to be here as soon as the final second ticked off the clock from the Florida game in the SEC Championship meeting a month ago.
As I mentioned in my last column, I am predicting an Alabama win over Texas Longhorns by a score of 31-17.
A win for Alabama will notch a fourth straight year that a team from the SEC has won the National Championship.
SEC teams are currently 5-0 in BCS title games overall.
While I am predicting a win for the Crimson Tide and their 13th National Championship, this should be a pretty good game to watch.
You have Mark Ingram against the Longhorn’s rushing defense and the passing of Texas against Alabama’s pass defense.
Both teams have great defenses and Texas defensive coordinator Will Mushcamp worked for Nick Saban.  Game time is set for 7 p.m. on ABC.
I hope everyone has a great week and until we meet again here or out in the world of sports, Roll Tide and God bless.
