Mrs. Kathleen Skipworth Burnham Bohannon, 93, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2010, in Brewton. She was a native of Jackson, a former resident of Atmore and a resident of Brewton for the past eight years. She attended the Presley Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Houston Burnham; a son, Jimmy Hollingsworth; a daughter, Joyce Hollingsworth Green; and two grandchildren, Frankie Burnham and J.J. Garrett; and a stepson, Frank Burnham.
She is survived by a son, James E. (Nola) Burnham of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; two daughters, Linda (Bennie) Watson of Robinsonville, and Kay Woodcock of Evergreen; a stepdaughter, Lois Floyd of Pensacola, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchilren; two great-great-granchildren; four sisters, Bernice Skipworth and Bob Hollinghead, both of Panama City, Fla., Virgie Beck of Jackson, and Bonnie Bowen of Milton, Fla.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 9, from 10 a.m. until funeral time at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home in Atmore.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor James E. Burnham officiating. Burial will follow at Serenity Garden Cemtery with Petty-Eastside directing. Pallbearers will be Matthew Watson, James D. Burnham, David W. Daniels, Heath Tate, Craig Montel and David Woodcock.
