Mrs. Debra Marie Steele Tabers, 55, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, in a local hospital. She was a native of Pensacola, Fla., a resident of Brewton for most of her life and attended the Ridge Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Weldon B. Tabers Jr. of Brewton; two sons, Weldon Brice (Angela) Tabers III of Sandcut, and Tristan Blake Tabers of Brewton; two daughters, Stephanie (Shannon) Odom and Melissa Lynn Tabers, both of Brewton; two grandchildren, Jabob Wesley Odom and Aden Brice Tabers; a brother, Lorelle (Oni) Steele of Brewton; two sisters, Loretta (David) Pittman of Milton, Fla., and Caroline (William) Odom of Brewton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. at the Ridge Road Baptist Church with the Rev.  Lee Cadenhead officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Road Cemetery with Petty Funeral Home directing.
