Georgia-Pacific will test a new mill-wide alarm Thursday — but it could be heard city-wide.
The alarm is at 130 decibels, GP Public Affairs Director Jason Daniel said, and will be set off intermittently Thursday as mill officials try to make sure it is in working order.
Daniel said the company wanted residents to know about the alarm so they don’t fear there is an amergency at the mill.
