JDCC streak at six

The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball team had their losing streak extended to six straight losses Thursday night at Faulkner State as they suffered an 81-44 conference loss.
The loss dropped the Warhawks to 3-12 overall and to 2-5 in conference play.
The Warhawks were outscored by 17 points in the first half, 50-23, and 31-21 in the second half to take the loss by 37 points.
Damien Jackson and Kentrail Brown led the Warhawks in scoring with 14 points each.
Logan Campbell, who spent most of the game in foul trouble, added seven points in the loss and Jamey Goddin added four points for the Warhawks.
Marquis Williams chipped in three points in the loss Thursday night and Dennis Miller rounded out the scorers with two points.
The Warhawks will be back in action on Monday at home against Bishop State at 7 p.m. in another conference game.
JDCC will close out the month of January with another home conference game on Thursday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m. against Enterprise.
