The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk softball team will begin their 2010 season on Thursday, Feb 4, at home against Central Alabama.
The 2010 schedule for the Warhawks shows 26 games with 20 doubleheaders.
JDCC’s game against Central Alabama to start the season will begin at 1 p.m. with the second game set to begin at 3 p.m. All JDCC Lady Warhawk home games that are scheduled doubleheaders will begin at 1 and 3 p.m.
Last season, the Warhawks went 26-24 and were 13-7 in conference play.
The Warhawks return 11 sophomores from last season’s team and will feature 12 freshmen players for a total of 23 players for head coach Misti Nims during the 2010 season.
