While others across the nation and the state were inking their names on letters of intent to play football Wednesday, T.R. Miller Tiger senior baseball player inked his name to play baseball for the Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk baseball team.
Dickey, a senior baseball player for the Tigers, also has lettered in football and basketball at the school.
JDCC Warhawk head coach Darrell Blevins said he was pleased to have Dickey join his team next season.
Dickey will begin his senior baseball season with T.R. Miller Thursday, Feb. 25, when the Tigers open their season with the Escambia County Tournament at home in Brewton. Game time is to be announced.
