Mr. Gordon Dawayne Lisenby, 34, died suddenly Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at his residence on Wallace Road. He was a native and life long resident of Brewton. He was of the Baptist faith and employed as a driller with Nabors Drilling. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Wayne Lisenby.
He is survived by his mother, Jean (Elton Stowers) Lisenby of Brewton; his wife, Christi Lefferty Lisenby of Brewton; two sons, Gordon Kyle Lisenby and Tyler Dawayne Lisenby, both of Brewton; two stepsons, Kyle Stephens and Brandon Stephens, both of Andalusia; a brother, Jeffrey (Jamie) Lisenby of Brewton; his grandmother, Alma R. Allen of Brewton; two nieces, Jordan and Cayleigh; and one nephew, Hunter.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Byrnes Pitts officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
