Parents seeking advice on raising their children in a complex world have an opportunity to attend a training seminar at First Baptist Church next weekend.
The Real World Parents training series will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, from 3 to 6 p.m. First Baptist youth minister Randy Winton will lead the series, which will help parents address a variety of issues including:
The Real World Parents workshop will explore Biblical principles to help families grow together and will address real issues parents are facing.
Real World Parents was created by Mark Matlock, founder of Wisdom World Ministries, who has been training students and families in the area of Biblical wisdom for nearly 20 years.
As a presenter, Winton has also experienced the Real World Parents training and said he is looking forward to sharing it with area parents.
All parents are invited to attend. The cost is $10 per couple.
