Mrs. Linda Louise Rodgers Scott, 62, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 at a local hospital. She was a former resident of Brewton and was a resident of Auburn for the past 10 years. She recently returned to Brewton. She was retired from Alagasco in Auburn and a member of North Brewton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Scott; and her parents, Hosea and Callie Rodgers.
She is survived by two sons, Doug (Shelia and daughter, Sara Louise,) Scott and David Scott, all of Brewton; a brother, Sam (Elizabeth) Rodgers of Auburn; two sisters, Becky Rodgers (Robert) Blackburn of Brewton, and Karen Rodgers (Joey) Weaver of Auburn; four nephews, two nieces; and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m. at Green Acres Cemetery with the Rev. Michael King officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
