Obadiah Riley, 85, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, in an Atmore medical facility after a lengthy illness. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abe and Daisy Riley.
He is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Jackson of Brewton; several cousins; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. from the Presley-Fluker Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Jo Meeks officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
