Mrs. Esteen Marie Chappell Garrett, 86, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 in a Jay hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Whitman, W. Va., and had resided in Brewton since 1946. She was a retired grocery store clerk and a member of First Baptist Church of Brewton and the American Legion Ladies Auxillary.
She is survived by her son, Tommy (Sue) Garrett of Brewton and one grandson, Weston Garrett.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 3, at 2 p.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home chapel with the Rev,. Jack Fitts officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
