Mr. James Allen Wilson, 70, died suddenly on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at his residence on Veasey Street in East Brewton. He was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County. He was a member of East Brewton First Baptist Church and was retired from the power house at Container Corporation with 38 years of service.
He is survived by a son, David (Michelle Norris) Wilson of Andalusia; two grandchildren, Tyler Wilson and Mallory Wilson; his wife of more than 50 years, Betty Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 5, at 11 a.m. at East Brewton First Baptict Church with the Rev. James Aubrey Wilson officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
