Mr. Stewart Wayne Tyree, 52, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native and long time resident of Century, Fla., before moving to Evergreen seven years ago. He was a musician and attended the Evergreen Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Ronda Pearl Price Tyree of Evergreen; a son, Zachery Seth Tyree of Atmore; a daughter, Samantha Tyree of Evergreen; a stepdaughter, Jessica Peterson of Evergreen; a brother, W.L. (Voncile) Tyree  of Century; two sisters, Voncile Cannon of Century, and Dorie Tyree of Pensacola, Fla.; three grandchildren; a niece, Annette Lister of Century; and two nephews, Daniel Lister of Century, and Steve Tyree of Pensacola, Fla.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 20, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 20, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow at McCurdy Cemetery in Century with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
