Mr. Winiford Earl “Nub” Jordan, 77, died Sunday, March 28, 2010. He was a native and life-long resident of Flomaton where he worked for L&N Railroad as a clerk. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps with three years of service. He was a member of Little Escambia Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nowling Jordan; a son, Stephen Gregory; his parents, Leslie and Patience Jordan; and a brother, Vivian “Bib” Jordan.
He is survived by a brother, Leslie Jordan Jr. of Flomaton; and four sisters, Margaret Evelyn Newton and Linda Black, both of Flomaton, Kathleen Whately of Molino, Fla. and Ann Parrish of Cantonment, Fla.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 31, from 10 a.m. until service time at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 31, at 11 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Doug Hogg officiating. Burial will follow at Little Escambia Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Matt Jordan, Paul Jordan, Ben Black, Corey Parrish, Clint Patterson and Lloyd Jordan. The honorary pallbearer will be Brice Hutton.
