Springtime in Brewton now means more than blooms — the splashpad at Dogwood Hills was opened Friday for its first full spring and summer season.
The splashpad first opened on Labor Day last year.
Meanwhile, the Dogwood Hills swimming pool is going through some maintenance checks before it is opened to the public on May 28, Hill said.
The pool will be open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
