If you are concerned about lead poisoning in your home and  even if you are not, please come to the Brewton Public Library April 19 at 1 p.m. to find out more about this life threatening poison.
Lead is not only in paint and our dinnerware, it is also in our children’s toys. Several months ago I became concerned about lead that might be in a set of dishes that I wanted to purchase for Christmas. Someone told me that if it came from China it probably had lead in it.
That set me off on a search for some answers. Looking on the internet mostly I soon learned that there are so many opinions on the subject that I wanted someone who could be trusted to tell the facts. I also learned that there are many other chemicals in our homes everyday that threaten our health.
I called Carolyn Bivins to ask if she could help. She
gave me some information and said that she could invite an expert Donna Shanklin to come down to give us the straight facts in lead poisoning in the home.
So for your family’s
health and safety, please join us at the Brewton Publice
Library April 19.
