Mrs. Betty Jean Arrant Moye, 73, died Monday, April 12, 2010, at her home after an extended illness. She was a native of Pollard and spent most of her life there. She was a member of Century Methodist Church and she was preceded in death by her husband, Gladden H. Moye and her parents, Cebren and Edna Arrant.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Cecil) Raines of Pollard; a sister, Judy Arrant of Pensacola, Fla.; three step granddaughters; and three step great-grandchildren; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and a host of other nieces, nephews and a very special group of friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 14, at 3 p.m. at Craver's Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Janet K. Lee and the Rev. Frank Scott officiating. Burial followed at Catawba Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
