A Brewton man has been arrested in connection with an altercation with a juvenile in East Brewton Sunday.
Connor Phelps, 21, of Brewton was arrested following his attack on the teen around 7 p.m. Sunday evening, East Brewton Police Chief Kenny Brazil said.
Phelps was transported to the Escambia County Detention Center where he was booked on charges of third degree assault.
Brazil said an investigation into the incident is continuing and other charges are pending in the case against Phelps.
The victim, who was not identified because of his age, was transported to D.W. McMillan Hospital following the assault. The extent of his injuries are not known.
