Mrs. Vera Rebecca Andrews Bryant, 87, of Jernigan Road, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, in a Florida nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Conecuh County and a resident of Brewton. She was a member of the Brewton Community of Christ Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Theodore Bryant and one great-great-grandchild.
She is survived by five sons, Joe (Glennis) Bryant of Oak Ridge, Montana, Robert (Paula) Bryant, Bill Bryant and Jerry Bryant, all of Brewton and John Bryant of Monroeville; a daughter, Betty Bryant (Wayne) Ellis of Brewton; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 27, at 11 a.m. at Green Acres Cemetery with Elder Wayne Morris and Elder John Sebastian officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
