William Rufus “Bill” Jones, 70, died Wednesday, May 5, 2010, in Montrose. He was a native of Milton, Fla., and a resident of Flomaton since 1978. He was a member of the Century Masonic Lodge No. 213 and Bethel Temple Holiness Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Cathy Jones of Robertsdale; a stepdaughter, Ilene M. Cook of Century, Fla.; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Marie McDade of Chipley, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 7, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. John Fillingim and the Rev. Ricky Peebles officiating.

Burial will follow at Flomaton Cemetery with Masonic services.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 6, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
