Mrs. Minnie Pearl “Bimp” Samuel, 51, died May 4, 2010. She was an active member of Path Way to Life Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie Lee and Jimmie Samuel and her sister, Lola Bell Dees.
She is survived by her son, Rickel Dewayne (Karisky) Samuel of Brewton; a daughter, Javasha Brandell Samuel of Brewton; her sisters, Madeline Carr, Ruby Lee (Albert) Grace of Evergreen, Bessie Tait, Carrie (Kenny) Redmon, Jessie (Herman) Daniels, Sherry Ewing, Theresa Ewing, Ruthie Pearl (Clifton) Monroe, Vielana Baptiste of Pensacola, Fla., Jenette Hall, Katlel Hill and Kathie Jones, all of Brewton; seven brothers, Johnny Samuel of Springfield, Mass., Corneclious Samuel, Willie Samuel, Halvester Samuel, Lewis Edward Samuel and Mackia Lane of Brewton; seven grandchildren, Christopher Samuel, Sakeri White of Century, Fla., Briana Samuel, Rickem Samuel, Karen Samuel, Dinah Samuel and Rickel Samuel Jr., all of Brewton; one great-grandchild, Savier Samuel; a devoted friend, Mary Brown; and a host of other friends and family.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 11, at 11 a.m. at Christ Kingdom Ministries, Inc. with Elder Herman Bradley officiating and Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
