Hello Brewton area sports fans. As you may see, this is a new blog here on our new site and the first blog of many, I hope.

This is also my first blog ever so I am kind of new to this.

Hopefully, I will be able to try and post a blog here every day, but if not every day, then maybe every other day or once a week.

As for sports in the Brewton area, all our high school teams are finished for the year but youth sports are in full swing with Little League, softball, and Babe Ruth just saw beginning.

I will try and take a look at how our are sports team did this school year. If anyone has a particular topic or anything, just comment on here or send me an e-mail at sports@brewtonstandard.com.

Tomorrow (Saturday) at noon, the East-West Lion’s Club baseball game will be held at JDCC’s Warhawk field. Three T.R. Miller Tiger baseball players will play in the game. Come on out tomorrow at watch some baseball.
