Accident injures 1

A single-vehicle accident injured one person and cause power lines to be downed Wednesday on Kirkland Road.
A one-vehicle accident on Kirkland Road sent the driver of the automobile to the hospital just after 11 a.m. today.
Indications at the accident scene show the vehicle may have left the roadway and overcorrected causing the accident.
The vehicle left the roadway and hit a utility pole on the north side of the roadway. The vehicle came to rest on its side.
According to those at the scene the driver did not appear to have life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.
