Mrs. Deborah “Debbie” Moye Raines, 54, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Pollard, a homemaker and a member of Pollard United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladden and Betty Jean Moye; and her grandparents, Cebren and Edna Arrant.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil H. Raines of Pollard; three stepdaughters, Leitha (Charles) Nelson and Tabitha (Jarrod Oden) Raines, both of Brewton, and Samantha Raines of Bradley; a special aunt, Judy Arrant of Pensacola, Fla.; three grandchildren, Delyla Oden, Keaton Nelson and Ayden Bell.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 12, at 11 a.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Janet K. Lee and the Rev. Frank Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Springs Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
