Four Flomaton residents were arrested Wednesday following a drug bust in the area.

Members of the 21st Judicial Drug Task Force unit, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department and Flomaton Police Department served the search warrant at the Sue Street residence.

Tonya Lee Johnson, 41, of 125 Sue St., was arrested and charged with first degree possession of marijuana; unlawful possession of a controlled substance – cocaine; unlawful possession of a controlled substance – prescription medication; and distribution of a controlled substance.

Donald Ray Wilkerson, 49, of 375 Holt St., was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kimberly Ann Costa, 22, of 125 Sue St., was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of marijuana.

Christopher Wayne Morris, 24, of 4218 Cary St., was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance – cocaine; two counts of possession of a controlled substance – Clonopine and Lortab; possession of drug paraphernalia and distribution of a controlled substance.

Escambia County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mike Lambert said other charges are may be possible pending outcome of presentation of evidence in the case before a grand jury.

Lambert said Task Force officers obtained a search warrant after an investigation in to possible drug distribution activity at the residence.

“An investigation in to claims that illegal narcotics were being sold from the residence resulted in officers obtaining a search warrant,” Lambert said. “When officers arrived at the residence several items consistent with drug activity were found.”

Lambert said marijuana; powder cocaine, crystal methamphetamines and a number of prescription pills were found at the home. “We will continue to investigate this type of activity and arrest those who break the law,” Lambert said.

The four arrested individuals were being held in lieu of bond Thursday. A bond hearing is planned, but details of bonds were not available.
