TRM softball to have summer tourney

The T.R. Miller Lady Tiger softball team will be joined with three other teams Friday for a summer play-date softball tournament.

Along with T.R. Miller, Citronelle, Straughn, and Baldwin County will play in a round-robin tournament beginning at 10 a.m. Friday at the Brewton Area YMCA Sports Park.

At 10 a.m. on field D, T.R. Miller will take on Citronelle while Straughn and Baldwin County will play on field A.

At 11:15 a.m., T.R. Miller and Straughn will tangle on field D while Citronelle and Baldwin County play on field A.

At 12:30 p.m., a 30-minute lunch break will take place with games resuming at 1 p.m.

At that time, T.R. Miller will play Baldwin County and Citronelle and Straughn will play on field A.

The last games of the day will begin at 2:15 p.m. with a rematch of the first games of the day— T.R. Miller against Citronelle and Baldwin County against Straughn.

Games will be five innings or with a time limit of 70 minutes.

If a score is tied after five innings or the time limit, the federation time limit will be in effect.

An admission price of $5 is good for all day.
