Mrs. Myrtis Olene Lindsey Tindell, 77, of Brewton, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, in a local hospital. She was a native of Red Level and a longtime resident of East Brewton. Mrs. Tindell was of the Pentecostal faith and was a retired cashier in retail sales and a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne Tindell of East Brewton and Bill (Margaret) Lindsey of Milton, Fla.; three sisters, Loyette Rico of Brewton, Lerline Gilmore of East Brewton and Ruth Harris of Midland City; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 1, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Dinkins and the Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Buck Creek Cemetery in Red Level with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home officiating.
