Joseph ‘Joe’ William Majercik

Mr. Joseph ‘Joe’ William Majercik, 66, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 in a Mobile medical facility after a brief illness. He was a native of Montgomery, a former resident of Mountain View, Ark. and a long time resident of Castleberry. He was a member of Saint Maurice Catholic Church, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and employed with the Brewton City School System in the maintenance department.

He is survived by two daughters, Leecia Majercik (Matthew) Santiago of Eva Beach, Hawaii, and Tracy Majercik (Jeff) Towe of Arlington, Tenn.; a step-daughter, Mary Rae of Arkansas; a brother, John Curtis Majercik of Mobile; two sisters, Regina (Joe) Stanfield of Saraland, and Cindy (Reese) Robinson of Brewton; and four grandchildren, Tiffany Santiago, Kayla Towe, Alyssa Santiago and Jenna Santiago.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 10, at 10 a.m. at Saint Maurice Catholic Church with Father Adrian Cook and the Rev. Bob Godby officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery in Castleberry with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
