Funeral services for Phillip Ellis, principal of W.S. Neal High School, will be held at the school auditorium at 11 a.m. Friday.

Ellis, who served 21 years as the school’s principal, died of cancer Monday.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the school auditorium.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Phillip M. Ellis Leadership Scholarship Fund, which has been set up at First Exchange Bank, Escambia County Superintendent Billy Hines said.
