Registration is still open for Saturday’s Blueberry Chase 5K, which will begin at the Brewton Area YMCA.

The race will benefit the W.S. Neal track team, which is hoping to make repairs to the school track. Repairs will make it possible for the track team to host home meets.

The race begins at 8 a.m.

Participants can register at the YMCA Thursday and Friday. The cost of registration is $18. Raceday registration is $20.

W.S. Neal track coach Rebecca Jordan said registration for the event is going well. “We have had 30 runners sign up,” she said.
