Officials with the U.S. Marshals Service say a Florida man was arrested by agents with the service in Brewton earlier this week after having been listed as a fugitive.

Eric Vickers, 25, of Escambia County, Fla., was arrested in Brewton last week by agents with the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Gulf Cost Regional Fugitive Task Force. The arrest came on an Escambia County, Fla., Sheriff’s Office warrant.

Vickers was wanted for aggravated assault with a knife, battery, aggravated battery, aggravated stalking and kidnapping in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident.

No additional information was made available from the U.S. Marshal’s Service concerning the circumstances of the case against Vickers.
