Mr. Lloyd Henry Stanford, 59, of the Range community, died Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at a Mobile hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Lenox. He was employed by McDonald Logging as a skidder driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Willie Dyess Stanford; and a brother, Calvin Stanford.

He is survived by his wife, Mattie Partin Stanford of Range; a daughter, Trisha Stanford of Lenox; four brothers, Buddy Stanford, Floyd Stanford and Doug Stanford, all of Lenox, and Stevie Stanford of Creola; four sisters, Elsie Cain of Brewton, Voncile Thomas and Idell Richerson, both of Lennox and Debra Lee of Century; and one granddaughter, Alicia Stanford.

Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Silcox officiating. Burial will follow in Ramah Cemetery in Lenox with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Condolences may be made at williamsmemorialchapel.com
