Stillman ‘Tim’ Foote Westbrook

Mr. Stillman ‘Tim’ Foote Westbrook, 60, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 at his residence. He was a native of Pittsburgh, Penn., and grew up in Delaware County, Penn. He graduated from the Episcopal Academy in Merion, Penn., and Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va., where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He was recently retired as information systems manager for New Castle County government in Delaware after more than 15 years of service. He was an active member of St. Thomas’s Episcopal Parish in Newark. He was preceded in death by his father, Stillman F. Westbrook Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Catherine Luker Westbrook; his daughters, Catherine E. Westbrook of Honey Brook, Penn., Margaret L. Westbrook of West Chester, Penn., and Jennie S. Westbrook of Washinton, D.C.; his mother, Eugenia H. Westbrook of Newtown Square, Penn., his sister, Ellen E. Westbrook of Strafford, N. H.; his mother-in-law, Mary Catherine Luker of Brewton; his brother-in-law, William (Lisa) Luker of Brewton; and a large extended family.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 16, at 3:30 p.m. at St. Thomas’s Episcopal Parish in Newark with visitation held prior to the service. A private burial will be held at a later date in Hartford, Conn. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to John Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center or The Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
