T.R. Miller volleyball advances to Elite 8

The T.R. Miller girls volleyball team beat Montevallo Thursday, advancing to the state’s Elite 8 tournament for the first time.
T.R. Miller beat Montevallo 3-0 (28-26, 25-20, 25-20). The Lady Tigers will play Ashville, who beat West Morgan 3-1 Thursday.
Gametime will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27.
