Mr. Gentry “Leon” Hobbs, 75, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2010. He was a native of Escambia County, Ala., and a recent and current resident of Spirit Lake, Idaho.

He had been very active in sports and outdoors throughout his lifetime. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was preceded in death by his father, James L. Hobbs; his mother, Donnie Lee Roberson Hobbs; two brothers, Jessee ‘Buddy’ Hobbs and James Floyd Hobbs.

He is survived by his wife, Vernell; three sons, Bob, Gentry and Clint, four granddaughters; two grandsons four great grandchildren: and two sisters, Bobbie Levens and Sue Martin

Funeral services were held Thursday October 21, at 10 a.m. at Yates Funeral Home Coeur d’Alene Chapel directing.
