Mr. Huston Travis Graves, 73, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at his residence. He was a native of Brewton and lived in Monroe County since 1978. He was a machinist for Alabama River Pulp and a member of Excel Assembly of God Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Vera Nell Graves of Excel; a son, Tony (Michelle) Graves of Excel; a daughter, Carmen Graves (Wendell) Holder of Excel; two sisters, Bobbie Douglas and Peggy Hammock, both of Brewton; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. at Excel Assembly of God with the Rev. Jason Daniels and the Rev. Joe Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Excel Cemetery with Monroe Chapel Funeral Home directing.
