Mavis Christine Ryals Robinson

Mrs. Mavis Christine Ryals Robinson, 82, passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Conecuh County, a member of The Monroeville Church of the Nazarene and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a granddaughter, Stephanie Nicole Robinson Smith; and a great-granddaughter, Ansley Grace Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Marion ‘F.M.’ Robinson of Repton; three sons, Richard (Delares) Robinson and Stevie (Melissa) Robinson, both of Brewton, and Philip Dale Robinson of Montgomery; four sisters, Ola Mae Emmons of Mobile, Madie James of Castleberry, Myrtlene Odom of Brewton, and Doris Odom of Jay, Fla.; three grandchildren, Adam Keith (Shari) Robinson, Steven Blake Robinson, and Kelly Christina Robinson; and two great-grandchildren, Hatlee Elizabeth Robinson and Jaxson Caide Smith.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. James Moore officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Holiness Church Cemetery in Castleberry with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
