Both the Brewton Middle School girls and boys basketball teams made quick and easy work of the McCall Wolves Monday at home as both teams picked up big wins.
The Lady Tigers improved their record to 5-0 as they cruised to a 26-9 win over McCall in the first game. The boys followed suit in the second game posting a 27-9 win to improve their record to 3-2 overall.
The two teams were set to be back in action Tuesday night at home for their final home game of the season before having the week of Thanksgiving off.
The teams will be back in action Monday, Nov. 29 at Jay.

McCall 9
The Lady Tigers of Brewton held McCall scoreless in the first quarter and the first 8:39 of the game to take a 17-point, 26-9 win over McCall Monday in Brewton.
Brewton held a 6-0 lead after the first quarter and an 8-0 lead with 3:50 left in the second quarter. McCall would score at the 3:21 mark of the second quarter but Brewton would hold a 14-2 lead at the half.
In the third quarter, Brewton outscored McCall 4-3 to extend their lead to 18-5 heading into the fourth quarter. In the fourth, Brewton ended the game on an 8-4 run to earn the win.
Tempest Johnson led Brewton with eight points followed by six from Emonea Curry and four from Shakira Nelson.
Tikeria Powell, Mykeisa Collins, Zakeea Knight, and Keona Banks all finished with two points each in the win for the Brewton Middle School Lady Tigers.
Brewton was 0-for-2 from the free throw line while McCall was 1-for-3.

BMS Tigers 27, McCall 9
After falling behind 2-0 early in the game to McCall, the Brewton Middle School boys went on a 14-0 run over the first and second quarter to held aid them in a 27-9 win.
Brewton outscored McCall 10-2 in the first quarter and extended their run to hold a 14-2 lead with 3:05 left in the second quarter before McCall scored their only two points of the quarter. Brewton outscored McCall 9-2 in the second to lead 19-4 heading into the locker room at the halftime break.
In the third quarter, Brewton once again held McCall to two points in a quarter while scoring four points to extend their lead to 23-6 heading into the fourth and final quarter of play.
In the four, Brewton would edge out the Wolves 4-3 to get the 18-point win.
Brewton was 1-for-10 from the free throw line in the win while McCall was 1-for-2.
Brewton had seven scorers in the win with Chardian Johnson and Jones Manning with six points each.
Kellyn Winn had five points and Tamerick Jenkins had four.
Ronald Young, Chris Jones and McHenry Coleman had two points each in the win for Brewton.
