Kenneth ‘Ken’ Joseph Kilgore

Mr. Kenneth ‘Ken’ Joseph Kilgore, 78, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2011 in a Pensacola, Fla. hospice facility after a brief illness. He was a native of Anniston, a former resident of California, and a long time resident of East Brewton. He was of the Catholic faith, U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of the American Legion, a former employee of Container Corporation of America and Brewton Iron Works/Precision, and retired from Western Geophysical Oil Exploration Company.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Calhoun Kilgore of East Brewton; two daughters- Teresa Kilgore (Billy) Ellis of Woodbridge, Va. and Paula Kilgore Robinson of Brewton; a brother, Jerome Rusty Kilgore of Fairhope; and three grandchildren, Christopher Ellis, Jessica Ellis Pickerel, and Sandi Luffman

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 12, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. at St. Maurice Catholic Church with Father Adrian Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Dixonville R.L.D.S. Cemetery Dixonville, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
