Mrs. Dru Ethel Portwood Jordan, 85, of Bonita Avenue died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011 in a local nursing facility after a brief illness. She was a native and life long resident of Brewton. She was of the Full Gospel faith and a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Dennis Jerry (Frankie) Jordan of Brewton; a daughter, Barbara Ann Jordan of Brewton; a sister, Mary (Hilton) Hale of Brewton; a grandson, Chad (Erin) Jordan of Brewton; five grandchildren, Jason Haiden Jordan, Ryan Garmeson, Steven McCall, Samuel Conner Jordan and Haley Elizabeth Jordan; a niece, Glenda (Dale) Yoder; a great nephew, Shannon (Lauren) Yoder; a great niece, Ginger (Avery) Simmons; a great-great niece, Addison Kendal Yoder; and a special friend, Sally Sexton.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 18, from 6 yo 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home .

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. James Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
