After having their Tuesday game against Clarke County postponed, the T.R. Miller basketball teams got back in action on the court Friday at home against area opponent Washington County.
In the game Friday, the Lady Tigers were the only team to come away with a win against the visiting Bulldogs.
The Lady Tigers won 50-11 while the B-team Tigers lost 51-43 and the varsity Tigers lost 56-48.
The Lady Tigers improved their overall record to 12-4 and 3-0 in area play while the B-team Tigers dropped to 3-4 and the varsity Tigers to 5-8 overall and 1-2 in area play.
T.R. Miller is set to play at home Tuesday against Clarke County at 4:30 p.m. in another area game.
T.R. Miller Lady Tiger and varsity Tiger head coach Ron Jackson declined comment after both games.

WCHS 51, TRM B-team 43
It was a thrilling Hail Mary touchdown pass as time expired for the T.R. Miller football team to earn a comeback win over Washington County last football.
While the T.R. Miller football team pulled off the win, the T.R. Miller B-team almost had a comeback of their own against the Bulldogs, but instead they dropped an eight-point loss, losing 51-43.
The Tigers trailed by 20 points, 45-20, heading into the final quarter of play, but started the quarter on a 10-0 run to cut the lead to 45-35 with 3:45 left in the game. The Tigers would cut the lead to eight points with 2:02 left in the game as they trailed 49-41, but would fail to score the remainder of the game.
Washington County started the game on a 6-0 run and would add another 6-0 run later in the first quarter to lead T.R. Miller 18-7 after one quarter of play.
In the second, Washington County increased their lead by five points with a 16-11 advantage to lead 34-18 at the half.
In the third, T.R. Miller was outscored 11-7 to trail by 20 points before holding an 18-6 advantage in the fourth to lose by eight.
T.R. Miller shot 7-for-13 from the free throw line in the loss while Washington County was 3-for-6.
Shawn Tolbert led T.R. Miller with 15 points and Dominique Jackson added 13.
Aaron Yuhasz chipped in nine points and Caden Lodge had four. Kieon Smith tallied two points in the loss for the B-team Tigers.

TRM Lady Tigers 50, WCHS 11
After a close first quarter with the Washington County Lady Bulldogs, the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers cruised their way to a 39-point area win.
The Lady Tigers, who led the whole game, found themselves only leading by eight points, 14-6, at the end of the first quarter.
From there, the Lady Tigers would go on a 24-0 run over the final two points of the first quarter through the third quarter to get the win.
The Lady Tigers held Washington County scoreless in the second quarter while posting 13 points to claim a 27-6 lead at the half.
The Lady Tigers would score the first eight points of the third quarter in a 29 second span to lead 35-6 with 6:31 left in the quarter. T.R. Miller would outscore Washington County 13-3 in the quarter to increase their lead to a 40-9 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth, T.R. Miller outscored Washington County 10-2 to get the win.
After the six points from the field in the first quarter, Washington County had only two shots from the field the remainder of the game for four points.
The Lady Tigers were 0-for-4 from the free throw line while Washington County was 1-for-6.
Leah Brundidge led T.R. Miller with 17 points and Sha Kiser had 12 points.
Adrian Gibbs added nine points and Courtney Jones had six. LaTeysia Montgomery chipped in four points and Brittany Rush added two.

WCHS 56, TRM varsity 48
If T.R. Miller Tiger head coach Ron Jackson could look at one reason why his team lost an eight-point area decision to Washington County Friday night at home, it might be his team’s free throw stats.
The varsity Tigers missed 18 free throws as they shot 15-for-33 in the loss while Washington County was 17-for-29.
But while the Tigers struggled from the free throw line, they still were in the game. After leading early in the game by as many as four points, the Tigers saw themselves trail by as many as 13 points with 5:21 left in the third quarter after a 9-0 run by the Bulldogs.
The Tigers cut the lead to 10 points, 40-30, after the third quarter and cut the Washington County lead to five points, 45-40, with 4:01 left in the game.
Washington County would increase their lead to 11 points with 10.9 seconds left in the game and claim the win by eight over the Tigers.
After cutting the deficit to five points, T.R. Miller’s final eight points came from five free throws and a three-pointer with 4.3 seconds left while Washington County was 5-for-7 from the free throw line down the final 1:08 and six points prior.
T.R. Miller trailed 15-12 after the first quarter and 29-21 at the half. The Tigers were outscored 11-9 in the third to trail 40-30 heading into the fourth.
In the fourth, the Tigers held an 18-16 advantage, but lost by eight points.
T.R. Miller was 1-for-4 from the free throw line in the first quarter, 3-for-9 in the second, 3-for-6 in the third, and 8-for-14 in the fourth.
Darrion Salter led T.R. Miller with 12 points and Mark Bryant added nine along with Antonio Payne.
Jaquan Dewberry had eight points and Caleb Hubbard had seven.
Kameron Winn added three points for the Tigers in the loss.
