Mr. Marvin L. Condrey, 71, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011 in Pensacola, Fla. He was a native of Brewton and was retired from the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Isabella Allen Condrey; his wife, Flossie Mae Condrey; and two sisters, Mattie Richarme and Ura Mae Miller.

He is survived by three sons, Jerry Godwin of Winfield, La., Kenneth Condrey of Flomaton and Marvin L. Condrey Jr. of Andalusia; a daughter, Carla Daeffler of Waterloo, N.Y.; two sisters, Lillie Belle Miller and Luverne Madison, both of Atmore; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with Brother William Odom officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery with full military honors with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
