Public Works Supervisor DeWayne King announced railroad crossings in three areas will be closed at various times this week to allow AT&T crews to make repairs.

The crossing at East Street and McClellan Streets were the first to be closed for repairs Monday, which could take an additional day for crews to complete.

Crossings at Mildred and Jones Street will be closed Feb. 7 for repairs, King said. Jones Street is located just off Martin Luther King Avenue.

The Cook Road crossing, also off Martin Luther King Avenue, will be closed for repairs Feb. 8.

Work will be minimal with little inconvenience to residents in the area, King said.
