The W.S. Neal golf team defeated Escambia County Monday in their first match played at the Atmore County Club.
The Eagles defeated Atmore 157 to 182.
Justin Moye shot a 48 for W.S. Neal followed by Hudson Brown’s 42, Matt Trimmier’s 31, Kelan Bodiford’s 37, Devin Burch’s 49 and Tyler Guest’s 47.
The best four scores are totaled in the final score with Brown’s, Trimmier’s, Bodiford’s, and Guest’s being scored.
Trimmier’s 31 led him to medal.
Scores were through six holes due to darkness.
“The course is in great shape,” W.S. Neal head coach John Saxon said. “My guys have been working hard and hitting a lot of balls. They are getting better each day.”
