The T.R. Miller boys and girls tennis teams swept every match with W.S. Neal Tuesday in East Brewton.
With the wins, T.R. Miller’s boys improved to 2-0 and the girls to 1-1 while W.S. Neal’s boys and girls fell to 0-1.
T.R. Miller won the singles over W.S. Neal 12-0 (6-0) and the doubles 9-0 (3-0) while the girls won by the same scores.

Boys:
In No. 1 singles play, Michael Kast defeated Johnathan Hall 9-8 and Patrick Weaver won the No. 2 match over Brandon Crutchfield 8-2. In No. 3 singles, William Jones defeated Cody Laymon 8-2 and Malik Leach won the No. 4 single match 8-2 over Coby Lucas.
In No. 5 single, Ed Hines defeated Jarrett Pearson 8-0 and Jennings Fussell won the No. 6 match 8-4 over Gary Likely.
In doubles, Kast and Weaver defeated Hall and Crutchfield 8-3 and Jones and Leech defeated Lucas and Pearson 8-0.
In No. 3 doubles, Austin Morris and Neill Morris defeated Laymon and Christopher Lowery 8-3.

Girls:
In girls action in No. 1 singles play, Laura Burkett defeated Samantha Ray 8-2 and in No. 2 singles, Abbi Carlson defeated Casey Nolen 8-0.
In No. 3 singles, Elizabeth Althauser defeated Allison Miller 8-0 and Whitney Nicholson defeated Dana Morris 8-0. Allie Adams earned an 8-0 win over Amanda Taylor and Rebekah Quick beat Casey Nolan 8-1.
In doubles, Laferria and Deaundra Hetherington defeated Ray and Nolen 8-0 and Carlson and Amber Nelson defeated Miller and Morris 8-0.
In No. 3 doubles, Octavia Wesley and Bonnie Blackburn defeated Cheyanna Godwin and Amanda Taylor.
