TRM tennis splits at Milton Friday

In Friday match in Milton, the T.R. Miller tennis teams split with the Panthers.
The boys teams lost 5-2 while the girls team won 6-1. With the split, both teams are now 2-2.
The boys won only one singles match out of five and split the two doubles while the girls won all but one of their singles matches and took both doubles.
For the boys, Nick Dorso lost the No. 1 singles match 6-4 and Taylor Terry lost the No. 2 match 6-0.
In No. 3 singles, Michael Kast won 6-0 while Patrick Weaver lost 6-4 in the No. 4 match. William Jones closed out single play for the Tigers in the No. 5 slot losing 6-4.
In doubles, Dorso and Kast won 6-3 while Jones and Taylor lost 7-5.
For the Lady Tigers, Laferria Hetherington lost the No. 1 match 6-1. From there, Elizabeth Nelson won 6-3, Deaundra Hetherington won 6-0 followed Laura Burkett winning 6-0 and Abbi Carlson winning 6-1.
In doubles, the Hetherington duo won 6-3 in No. 1 doubles and Nelson and Carlson won 6-1 in the No. 2 match.
