Mr. Thomas Craig Garrett, 50, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, in Mobile. He was a native and lifelong resident of Bluff Springs and attended the Baptist church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Edna Garrett.
He is survived by eight brothers and sisters, Joe (Monica) Garrett of Bluff Springs, Susan (Milt) Lowrey of Jay, Fla., Merle (D.C.) Odom of Century, Fla., Stephen ‘Cotton’ Garrett, Jabo (Teresa) Garrett, and Earl (Karen) Garrett, all of Flomaton, Sherry (Rickie) Holley of Petry, and Lisa (Leavon) Sessions of Mobile; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 27, at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Weaver officiating. Burial followed at Crary Memorial Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were nephews, Milt Lowrey Jr., Garrett Lowrey, Earl Garrett III, Matthew Garrett, David Odom Jr. and Brian Nobley.
